Connecting with future workers: GOSH student day

O[yes] will be once again sponsoring Student Day at the 2015 Oregon Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health (GOSH) Conference! Oregon teachers and high school students, especially those involved with vocational, experiential learning, and hands-on work experience will benefit most from this experience. See photos from GOSH 2013.

The 2015 GOSH Student Day will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland from approximately 9am – 2:30pm.

The agenda will include a keynote speaker, small group activities, lunch, and exploration in the extensive GOSH exhibit hall. Lunch will be hosted and we hope to again have transportation stipends. However, we will likely not have funding to cover substitute costs.

This year we have space for 120 students. At this time we are only taking RSVP’s to be on a wait list. Those on the wait list will be contacted if space becomes available by mid-February 2015 at the latest. For those who have already RSVP’d, please respond with the final number of students and teachers/staff that will be attending by the end of January 2015.

Contact Brittany Chaufty for details, questions and to RSVP.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2015 GOSH Student Day!
