The “Youth at Work: Talking Safety” curriculum is a foundation curriculum in occupational safety and health created by NIOSH. In this course, we will demonstrate highly interactive and fun learning activities to use in a group setting to teach the following skills:

• How to recognize workplace health and safety hazards
• How to protect themselves from work-related injuries and illnesses
• How to stay safe in an emergency at work
• How to speak up when a problem arises

Our goal in this class is to equip OSH professionals with training modules and materials to use when interacting with and instructing young workers, employers, and student and youth groups. You will also learn about O[yes] efforts to educate young people about workplace safety and how you can be involved.    See Event Flyer
