Join us at the Oregon Governor’s Occupational Safety & Health Conference!
For more than a decade, O[yes] has teamed up with the Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Conference in Portland with a full day no cost opportunity for those interested in the occupational safety and health field. The GOSH Safety and Health Conference Student/Early Professional Day is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
This event begins at 8:15 AM with the conference welcome and keynote, followed by the safety professional Q & A and networking session and panel, and concludes late afternoon with optional attendance at the evening American Society of Safety Professionals WISE (Women in Safety Excellence, open to safety supporters of all genders) event. Other events during the day include time at lunch and the exhibit hall with mentors and exhibitors, and attendance at two technical sessions of attendee’s choosing.
The GOSH conference is held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. Parking and transportation are not covered, although this day at the conference will be no-cost to those accepted and includes lunch. Student/Early Professional Day 2025 includes opportunities to attend the conference keynote, a panel session about roles and jobs in the field, conference sessions, informal lunch discussions with mentors, and the exhibit hall.
Priority is given to Oregon and Washington residents 18 or older pursuing education in public health or occupational safety and health (OSH) OR working in the trades or in apprentice programs with an interest in occupational safety and health OR interested in a career change into the environmental, health and safety path.
