Oregon high school students honored for videos promoting workplace safety

A teenager’s struggle finding and keeping his first job. A retiree’s memories of a logging accident that maimed his right hand. An underage worker’s dilemma when asked to illegally operate a meat-slicer.

These were the subjects of award-winning videos recently produced by Oregon high school students as part of an annual competition to promote awareness about job safety for young workers.
