o[yes] launches the 2026 media contest

High school students across the state of Oregon are encouraged to submit a 30- to 90-second video or a graphic design that persuades young workers to take Oregon OSHA’s heat illness prevention online course. Heat illness is a growing concern in safety and health, and o[yes] has chosen this approach to continue to raise awareness in Oregon communities.
A 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded in each category, and 1st place winners will also receive a matching prize for their school.
- 1st place – $500
- 2nd place – $400
- 3rd place – $300
Details about the contest can be found on our website: O[yes] Media contest for Oregon students.
The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026.
The 2025 winners and finalists came from high schools around the state: Bend Sr. High School, Cleveland High School (Portland), Crescent Valley High School (Corvallis), Lincoln High School (Portland), McNary High School (Keizer), Parkrose High School (Portland), and Sherwood High School.
