Welcome to the official page for the 2025-2026 O[yes] Media Contest!

High school students across Oregon were invited to participate in our annual O[yes] Media Contest. Now in its 18th year, this contest puts a spotlight on the importance of young worker safety and health, with a focus this year on staying safe in the heat. The competition challenged participants to create either a short video or graphic design that inspires young workers to take Oregon OSHA’s Heat Illness Prevention Training to increase awareness of how to stay safe and healthy while on the job, especially during the summer months.

This year’s finalists came from high schools around the state: Sherwood High School (Sherwood), Parkrose High School (Portland), Crescent Valley High School (Corvallis), Center for Advanced Learning (Gresham), Centennial High School (Gresham), Clackamas Academy of Industrial Sciences (Oregon City), Henley High School (Klamath Falls), McLoughlin High School (Milton-Freewater), The Dalles High School (The Dalles) and Bend Senior High School (Bend).
