Cascade Conference Student/Early Career Day

Join us at the Cascade Occupational Safety and Health Conference!

For nearly a decade, O[yes] has teamed up with the Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Conference in Portland and now we are expanding the opportunity to other conferences with a full day no cost opportunity for those interested in the occupational safety and health field. The Cascade Safety and Health Conference Student/Early Professional Day is scheduled for Monday, March 4, 2024.

This event begins at 8:15 AM with safety professional Q & A session, and concludes late afternoon with optional attendance at the evening American Society of Safety Professionals WISE (Women in Safety Excellence, open to safety supporters of all genders) event.

The Cascade Conference is held at The Graduate Hotel in Eugene, Oregon. Parking and transportation are not covered, although this day at the conference will be no-cost to those accepted and includes lunch. Student/Early Professional Day 2024 will be like the event held at the GOSH conference in March 2023, and includes opportunities to attend the conference keynote and opening session, a panel session about roles and jobs in the field, conference sessions, informal lunch discussions with mentors, and the exhibit hall.

Priority is to Oregon and Washington residents 18 or older pursuing education in public health or occupational safety and health (OSH) OR working in the trades or in apprentice programs with an interest in occupational safety and health OR interested in a career change into the environmental, health and safety path.
