Don’t Let Your Safety Stumble: 1st place graphic design winner

This graphic design winner from Ridgeview High School nicely captured common hazards related to slips, trips and falls with some great images.  You can see the restaurant worker slipping on a wet surface, the health care worker tripping on cords, and the retail worker falling down stairs while carrying a box.  Injuries from slips, trips and falls can be very serious and range from a bruised knee or hip to a broken wrist or even a concussion.

O[yes] congratulates Ridgeview High Junior Kiley, the artist who created this winning entry. Learn more from Kiley about the crafting of this design. Ridgeview High is in Redmond Oregon.

The graphic includes an important reminder to be aware of hazards so that you can prevent a slip, trip or fall.  Since work can be more dangerous than you think, speak up if you notice a hazard and get it taken care of – don’t let your safety stumble.
