November was Young Employee Safety Awareness Month – and these reminders are important all year long! (Note from editor)

In honor of November being Young Employee Safety Awareness month, the Oregon Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (OR-FACE) team from the Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences at Oregon Health and Science University created a young employee safety hazard alert. OR-FACE conducts surveillance, investigation, and assessment of occupational fatalities in Oregon, and produces materials to promote worker safety. Some of these materials are hazard alerts, which identify injury trends in specific industries, occupations, or groups and provide safety tips. This hazard alert addresses employers and provides advice for creating a safe work environment for young workers. In addition to the O[yes] training in the QR code in the hazard alert, visit https://www.saif.com/safety-and-health/tips-for-keeping-young-workers-safe.html for more young employee safety resources.
